Tyrone works as a Case Manager at the Office of Student Assistance at Syracuse University. In his role as case manager, he works with college students who need support navigating university processes, connecting to resources, and addressing barriers that impede their success towards graduation. In addition, Tyrone coordinates the Office of Student Assistance's assessment initiatives. Tyrone also serves on the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience's Council for Diversity and Inclusion, facilitates intergroup dialogue circles, and is a member of the Sexual Education Prevention Team.  Nationally, Tyrone is a member of the Higher Education Case Managers Association (HECMA) and serves on their Conferences and Special Events Committee and is a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.

Tyrone was born and raised in Colorado. He earned his Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University, Fort Collins (CSU). While at CSU, Tyrone was involved in various student organizations and leadership opportunities such as the United Men of Color, the National Undergraduate Fellows Program (NUFP), and serving as a peer mentor for the Key Communities.

After attending Colorado State University, Tyrone worked for the Aurora Mental Health Center's Aurora Youth Options (AYO) program. With AYO, Tyrone connected at-risk middle and high school youth in the city of Aurora to resources and community supports. After working for AYO, Tyrone attended the Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Masters degree in College Student Affairs. While pursing his degree, Tyrone served as advisor for S-Plan, a peer-mentoring, health education program addressing the needs of African American and Latinx students around living healthy lifestyles and as an academic advisor for the Education and Public Policy undergraduate program.
